A lot has changed in the pet industry in the last few years. The pet industry is vast and booming. Now, companies are becoming more environmentally friendly and are beginning to develop eco friendly products for dogs. Great new products such as beds, toys, and other innovations are being created that make great use of waste products such as plastic bottles and other refuse that people recycle. Take for instance this eco nap bed. It is made from 85% recycled plastic bottles and is not only very durable, but comes in trendy colors that will look good in a natural home setting. The large mats are made from 40 plastic bottles! There is also this striped bumper bed which is made from 100% recycled and re-engineered fiber fill.
These are very cool products, but are just the beginning of better things to come. One of the best things about these products is that they are made from non toxic materials. While I am not fanatic about global warming, I do believe it is our responsibility to keep our environment clean whether we are having warmer weather or not.
